A Step Ahead Foundation Tri-Cities works to provide free birth control and transportation to anyone in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. They offer free comprehensive reproductive health education to anyone in our region.

Families Free has a mission to strengthen our community through intervention, restoration, and healing relationships. They offer programs such as Healing Families, Restorative Justice, Community Recovery, and Storie Housing. Please see their website for more details about each of these!

We are empowering Johnson City women by helping them develop civic leadership skills, then giving them the tools to put their unique talents to work in our community! The Junior League of Johnson City is creating real change in Washington, Carter, and Unicoi counties by advancing social activism-focused projects that directly benefit our local community! We make a positive impact through effective action and leadership.

Our mission is to improve physical, social, and economic health in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, especially for economically disadvantaged children and their families. Our vision is to be a region where people and communities are connected, valued, and engaged, and everyone is healthy and thriving.
